I like how this reads like a historical account (of what I'm assuming to be) a viking invasion of England
One problem I have though, this is a bit hard to read. The paragraphs are very close to one another, so I feel like having more space between paragraphs would improve readability
Also, I am definitely not as well versed as you are in viking history, but why would a viking take the time to write down what he did, if he can even write in the first place? I'm not well versed in viking history, so this is probably a very dumb critique, but it intrigues me
I did enjoy reading this, I especially love the last paragraph where the main guy describes how he kills the survivors. The way you phrased that part characterises him to imply he views it as something completely mundane, and I absolutely love that <3

Much is open to interpretation about Viking history since so little is known about them. They didn't favor writing things down often, but I broke that unspoken rule for the story's sake. Thanks for the read! :^)
